Techo-Bloc - Squadra

Squadra brings the cobblestone paving traditions of the Old World into the New. This small (3 ¼” x 3 ¼”), almost cubic paver is ideal for the creation of elaborate, finely-weaved tapestries. A layout possibility exists for any designer’s intent: Squadra can be deployed into fan and fish-scale motifs, inventive new curves, colored mosaics, or as highly-textured inlays to counterbalance large or smooth slabs. This makes it an adaptable product suitable for use in both modern and traditional design contexts. While the grey and black tones are likely to appeal to the modernists amongst us, Squadra is one of the few Techo-Bloc products to sport merlot, making it an ideal pairing for the red and brown bricks of North America. For the adventurous designer, Squadra is compatible with Blu, Blu Grande, Ocean Grande, and its larger sibling, Valet, without the need for cuts. Regardless of the pattern or color chosen, Squadra is sure to provide any plaza, park, or pedestrian streetscape with an established and grounded feel that is guaranteed to last. Techo-Bloc’s smallest paver is de-icing salt resistant and light-traffic friendly. Squadra is ADA compliant and ASTM certified, making it particularly well suited for commercial and institutional applications within the urban environment.
